Think 3D is proud to now be a part of Teccon

Teccon land surveying firm has acquired Think 3D. Think 3D has built up strong expertise in 3D laser scanning for the industrial sector. The acquisition strengthens the Teccon’s position in the industrial measurement market, and gives Think 3D clients more options within Teccon’s wide range of land surveying services.

Think 3D became part of Teccon on 1 November 2020. This concerns the 3D laser scanning activities for industrial clients. Stormbee, Think 3D’s division that is responsible for developing and deploying a scanning drone, was not taken over. Think 3D will now operate from Teccon’s head office in Ghent-Mariakerke.

High-quality 3D measurements for the industrial market

The acquisition of Think 3D allows Teccon to focus even more on high-quality 3D measurements and modellings for the industrial market. This includes complex measurements for engineering, petrochemical, port authority and other industrial markets.

3D laser scanning

We use 3D laser scanning to capture the existing situation down to the finest detail. This results in a three-dimensional point cloud that forms the basis for 3D displays, 2D plans, 3D models, analyses, basic engineering and more.

Think 3D powered by Teccon

Think 3D was established in 2010 and specialises in 3D laser scanning for the industrial market. Under the wing of Teccon, the Think 3D scanning team has been given a big boost and more space to further expand its business.
